If you do winter fish be prepared, extra clothes, road salt, hand warmers, something to start a fire, life jacket, radio or cell phone , I always carry Ice melt in the truck and the boat, that way if the ramp is slick coming or going I have the ice melt with me. falling on the ramp and sliding into the water ain't no fun, Don't ask. never too early to start thinking about winter fishing.
