Jane, Dexter the Wonder Wiener and I ran down today to visit the Toona Bote at State Park and make sure it's OK. It is.
The lake is wide open and there were several boats out. Launch ice free. At least one bass tournament out of Hartley Cove Launch (Old State Park launch for us older guys). A small area of thin ice in the marina cove, and I'd say other coves.
Beagleman was there, we talked a good bit. He fished all morning with no fish. Had his underwater camera, said everywhere he looked there was no fish.
It was a fine day though, 57°, high thin clouds, no wind.
Topped off with a stop at Sundaes in Stockton for a double cheeseburger.

nice that you have your toon still in water guess it's on a lift? just going down to pier and BSing with the other fishermen is worthwhile.

Yep, it's on a lift. Things grow on things left in the water.

it was one of the worst day ever, the fish have left the docks, all 4 that I fish, and the cove bite was bad, real bad, oh well ,june will be hear aforlong, I can wait. Good to talk to you Mike and remember what I told you

I was there too sat must have left just before you got there. I left around noon. With no fish.
