Hope to see ya there shortdraw. My post was not meant in any way bad just poking fun at Keefer and Joe.
Oh I never took offense to any of it ..can't poke fun at someone what fun is it?
Well I’m super offended now, you finally did it, you hurt my feeling. I think I have one.:dono Yep we bailed :juggleoh and yep we actually caught fish.:Rofl
Seriously we did miss the group last year and always have a heck of a good time at camp, some real good people!
Surprised they still tell Joe and I the correct weekend!:popcorn

Have a great camp. may bee next year i will be able to herd some cows your way.

We will be down 3rd thru 6th, staying at the campground this year, reserved site A32. See ya'll then.
A043 is reserved! Harold Coons, Ed Shanks, Tim Shanks, and I (Chris Shanks) will all be in attendance. My #1 partner is in college now so I will be without Caleb this year. We will plan on being down Wednesday night or Thursday morning. We will again host the Clifford Shanks Big Crappie Contest on Friday. I will post a flyer on a separate thread. The following organizations or families have received funds from the "tournament":
2015: Leukemia and Lymphoma Society – National Level
2016: Landon Jaros Family – Young man lost his fight with Leukemia September 16, 2016 at the age of 4.
2017: Rose Lowenstein Foundation – Local organization that supports families affected by childhood cancer.
Just a little fun at camp. I will have the same plaques made this year as last year! I think like 10 oz was the winner last year; with the high water!!!!!! Can't wait!!!!
Well bad news for me...knee surgery scheduled for April 13th so since I m sure I will be laid up for 4 to 6 weeks doesn't look like I m going to be able make it. Was looking forward to coming as you guys seem to like having a good time. Someday I would love to learn a little about that part of the lake...good luck have fun ill mark down for next year..
Are there any cabins available nearby ?

My son Mateo and I are looking forward to attend our first spring camp this year. Meeting new members and the opportunity already to meet some good people on this C.C

will be hanging with Mac and camping, looking forward to seeing everyone. hopefully the fishing will be better this year but the fellowship surely will be just as good.
I am really looking forward to spring camp. It'd be nice to catch some fish but it's not the most important aspect. Meeting a bunch of C.C members is.
The wife and I have missed several years of crappie camp, but will end the drought this spring.
We're older and fatter, so the ole boat goes slower, but we'll be there and will sign up to bring something(s).
Hopefully y'all still recognize us!
We'll be in A57, coming down Friday Aftn/Eve.
'97 skeeter, black with a yamaha 150, and a crappie.com sticker on the the back of the engine.
Great can’t wait you

Dang, Ralph...it will be good to see you again. Hopefully you'll still recognize me, too. I just keep getting smarter and better looking!
What's the water temp at on Truman? Pretty cold up here in IA still. Was on the lake a couple days ago, 40 degrees.
I think we will be down there the first week of May.
A-74 Reserved Will be down Friday Afternoon-Sunday with the girlfriend and boys.
well due to a unforeseen auto accident in Tupelo, Ms. while returning from picking up my car at sisters house in Fl. I don't think I am going to make it to camp this time around. I am fiscally ok, but with the out for her surgery, and a lapse between short term Disability and long term disability with her health insurance, money is just too tight. Look forward to meeting you all...Next time is such a hard pill to swallow, but life keeps us on edge...Eric.
Hate to hear it. Hope all is well with family.

Yes she is recovering well from the heel spur surgery, just wont be back to work for a couple months from now, and I totaled the car I went to my sisters in Florida to pick up...I am doing well, very sore, but no broken bones or cuts...Aluminum bodied sports cars and steel don't mix well...but cars are replaceable we are not. Bruised and swollen knuckle on right hand, a couple knots and bruises on left foot, Clutch peddle I'm guessing, slight concussion. Guess I had an Angel watching out for me...Scary skimming across grass at 65mph and not being in control of anything....
Man just looked at the long range forecast for next week and it's supposed to be nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We might hit it right on the spawn this year. Hope this doesn't jinx us. :hatchet:
I’m camping this weekend and next. Weather lookin great both weeks. LETS GOOOO
Get after them wilk.

Sorry to hear about the accident. Just glad to hear you are on the mend. Prayers sent for you and your wife.
I appreciate the kind words dfar. Yep, Thankfully just Bruised up real bad. If I had my car I could make it up, but with this gas hog of a Pick-up I can barely afford the grocery store visits... Around 10 mpg from a 302 (5.0) can't believe it. I need to get it checked. She bought it before I got up here, oh well. Be glad when she gets back to work for sure...
That's pretty much normal fuel mileage on that Ford. 10mpg loaded or not.
well got my reservations made for friday, sat, and going home sunday, hope the weather holds out.
