me and my fishing bud are bringing the wives and want a cabin but nothing showing up on bucksaw site. is there a motel there as well as don't think momma wants to camp.
Bucksaw has Cabins, Motel ( on the water ) and a Lodge, stayed at all three before and liked them all.
thanks guys! now on site. had just hit first link provided in thread and went to general site which didn't work well. this did. appreciate all the help.
Is it May yet? [emoji47] [emoji379] I'm going nuts.
cabins were sold out but did book the kitchenette. full sized bed and two bunks wasn't exactly what I wanted but hey, you take what works.
:ThumbsUp Happy wife Happy life!
There is a ton of antique and craft shops with in a 1/2 hour of Bucksaw. Downtown Clinton square would be another place they could kill some time. Glad your going to make it. Look forward to meeting you all and all the other newer members.
Finally got my rear in gear, got one of the kitchenettes on the water for 4-8th. Can't wait, look forward to seeing everyone.
SNOW!! Good ole Midwest weather. We stayed there last year and they were nice, but the only problem I had was I would get all the way down to the room and remember I forgot something in the truck, so back up the dang hill.:banghead

Spring Camp my son and DiL. Will never forget
One thing about the guys that came to that camp , they were tough and fished ,and somehow found a way to have Dinners . It was still a good cold time .
Yes that was a great year, hearing the stories of the tents collapsing on a few guys was hilarious.
I think Dexter cut his way out of his tent.
Glad nobody was hurt but remember always pack sunscreen and a snow shovel to camp!
That was a good camp. We were picking morels out of the snow behind camp.
That was the first year I started following c.com. Still spent most of my time chasing whites. I think we caught so many whites/hybrids that I wore the fingerprints off my right index finger and could not log onto the computer at work without scanning a new fingertip.

That was the year I told my Dad, "We don't need to worry about putting the awning up tonight, it's no big deal." The next morning, I said, "We don't have to tell Mom about not putting the awning up last night, do we???"
Ah good times lol

sounds like a lot of fun, just not at the time but gives you great stories for the future.
Went to Crappie U last night at SCC and listening to hyper Kevin Rogers talking about Truman constantly and showing maps and where to go when and fish he caught out of there has me fired up for being at Spring Camp as I havn't ever fished it.
Got a room reserved at the lodge for Friday and Saturday nights. Looking forward to it.
I have a room at the lodge for Fri and Sat nights as well. Can't wait!

I just book A043 for May 4-7. We will be down Wednesday night! Chris Shanks, Tim Shanks, Caleb Shanks, Eddie Shanks, and Harold Coons! I will post a flyer for those that want to fish for Leukemia support on Friday. The past two years we have raised some money in the name of Clifford Shanks "Blue Skeeter". Come out and BIG fish on Friday!
