Don't forget moon phase and sky clarity the night prior. I saw some things this year that changed me from a skeptic into a believer this past spring. Saturday, April 23, 2016...morning after the full moon (not a cloud in the sky). I have no doubt in my mind that the spawn started for white crappie on Reelfoot lake at daybreak that day. 56 keepers from daylight to 10am

I posted a copy of Joedogs May and June fishing log. Not a lot of info recorded. He could have put weather conditions but he really sped up the process the in June.

I have started and stopped too many time logging information. I need to take more time with it.
Nice fishing log Joe, very consistent. Looks like it is missing some info on catches, such as hard or soft wood, altitude etc.

For years I kept a paper journal. A couple of years ago, though, I transferred everything to an Excel spreadsheet. The big advantage of the spreadsheet is the ability to sort and filter the data.
