I had a 16/48 w/25 also and loved it for the reasons you stated about your feet. I never moved. Rough ride in windy conditions and you being up front feel it all. 70 hp on mine would have been low level flight. A larger boat with lower decks would be my choice if the budget would allow, but that's me and few mobility issues. Hope you get your answers.
