Here is a quick startup settings list from one of the best Humminbird guys out there. It worked really well for my 1199 and 1159. Attachment 226505

Thanks for the set-up info Jared. First time with SI for me,so this will help a lot and save some time on the water.
Just remember to keep an eye out for those islands and other large earthen "obstructions".... like the bank.... while on plane adjusting your settings.....right Joe?????

Just bought a new Hummingbird HELIX 7 SI GPS. Looking at cards now. I know most on this site like Lake Masters. But I fish Bull Shoals will I need 2 different cards as it is in 2 states MO & ARK. MO & ARK are on different SD Lake Master cards. The unit only holds 1 SD card that will make it a work if I an fishing near the state line and I do. Navionics HotMaps MO & ARK are on the same card. Help me.
