    Default Venice, LA fishing

Has anybody been or know anything about inshore fishing down there? Husband has 12 days off from Chistmas to New Years and it is going to get boring if local water isn't in good shape. Have nothing keeping us at home after Christmas for the first time in a LONG time. Would love to get into some redfish and other stuff. Have never been there. Would have to find a guide. Just something I have been thinking about.

Thanks for the info. Don't know what we will do while husband is off work. Weather here sounds like it is going to be crappy.

Sorry to say, predicting rain in south La. through New Years. Today in Baton Rouge we had rain and heavy fog all day. The interstate was awful.

Spent three days at Venice Fishing Lodge in early November, contact is Billy Nicholas, they have a web site including rates. Dont think we went more than 10 minutes without having one or two bull reds on between the two of us, it was nuts.
