Gotta tooth knocked out

Just barely bumped a stump on Truman lake and it broke a tooth on the gear set of the lower unit. Got it apart and waiting on the insurance guy to take a look at it. Prop shows no damage but it is a stainless steel prop. Hope it goes ok with him.

Check your shaft to make sure its not bent!!!!

That is no "stump bump". Sure it hadn't hit something in the near past????
Cracks can occur and not cause a problem until later when they grow.
