Default MR340 bound, pray for a little less rain for the rest of the month

I took an empty slot this Saturday in a 14 man voyager class canoe in the FREEDOM RACE, Lamine to Jeff City on the Missouri River 65 miles. That was it took for my paddle buddies to claw me back in.

They found a guy that was doing tandem that had a partner back out. So now I'm gearing up for the MR340 in a canoe. Them slopes of the Muddy MO are slippery, stay back or they'll drag you in every time. We need to not have flood stage the last week of this month.

Good luck and watch for flying carp.
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.

Good luck. I will be down in New Orleans then so I won't be able to drink a cold beer with you at the finish line.

Thanks guys, it is like a drug, once you do it, all someone has to do is start the talk, get you to take a little, and WHAM!! your buying and selling canoes and kayaks and buying paddles and teaming up with fellas from Chicago...
