Well you pretty much covered it all there. LOL It was good seeing you at camp even though I didn't get much time to talk to you. You come on back and enjoy camp anytime we have had some hard feelings between some members in the past and I believe we all need to just let it go and get over it. This site is all about helping each other and having fun in the wonderful sport of crappie fishing and the fellowship we get by having these camps.
You welcome in my boat any time.
Well said Hogster!!!!! I have good friends who never or hardly ever post on here but I wish they would. Chris 2, It was great to see pics of you at camp. Sorry I couldn't make it this year. I've been busier than a three legged cat covering doo doo on a frozen pond. I sure miss all of you guys!!! I hate to hear of the tough year you had last year and hope the worst is behind you. Please don't be a stranger.
I post 99% percent of the trips I fish, good, bad, and ugly and I fish a lot, long poler prob has me beat though...I envy that guy
Chris it was great to have you and Christina at camp if even for one evening. Hopefully she did not meet all of us and decide you must be crazy. Glenn at the guard shack has sure been easier to deal with the last couple years with out you leaving your hose hooked up to the hydrant all the time:biggrin. You are right on about the ups and downs on here and a few pissing match's that have taken place. I've even been in the middle of a couple myself. But there is no better group of guys and gals than this group on the MO forum. Well maybe better keep an eye on a few of them boys from Smithville:Rofl. We even get some great out of state guys and gals at camp from time to time. Hopefully your recent status change with allow you some time to make it up to Truman. You can even bring ole Sam along sometime. Be glad to get you a recent report if needed before you come because I know Monty will be to busy drag racing that Mustang and dodging bugs in it to get you a report.
Its hard to find time to get on here working two jobs but here is a report from last weekend Friday limit on the Grand rigging in 4 to 10ft of water 1 to 2ft deep in the back of a creek. Saturday couldn't catch a fish rigging started dipping trees on the flat in the same creek caught about half my limit moved out to the main lake flats in 10 to 12ft of water about 8ft down and limited out both days blue and white or back and chartreuse jigs tipped with minnows.
Dean let's see some pics of that new boat.
Too depressed to post. Working like a dog, organizing the house/unpack, etc. all taking over my time.
Forum members go through the typical change of life stuff that we all experience. It's common that people ebb and flow on posting, and that goes for forum boards both inside and outside of fishing. I used to post more than I do now, just don't feel compelled to unless it's something I could help with like advice on boats for instance, it's worth about what it costs, zero, but it's available nonetheless. I fish a few tournaments through the year but am no great shakes one way or the other on the local scene and don't take myself too seriously. To Chris' point, in my case it has little to do with the amount I post, likely wouldn't have been different whether I fished tournaments or not. But his point is a good reminder, friends are forever and I've met some good people here,,,,,and then there's Monty :)
