    Default Bibs

My Bernies have seen better days and I might but some new bibs. I've been eye balling the BPS Pro Qualifier bibs and wondering how warm they are compared to insulated bernies or carhartts. I'm sure the rain protection is great but I'm more concerned about how warm they are. Any feedback would be great.

I bought the BPS Pro Qualifiers in Nov. for my winter fishing in Arkansas. If you buy the liner that fits either the pro qualifier or the 100 mph, the top is nice and toasty in 34 degree weather. If you don't, then you have a great wind and rain suit, but it is not a warm coat by itself. Now that I have it, I will never buy any other unless BP quits making them. Open your wallet and get it over with once and for all. I don't know about colder than that. If it is that cold, I make a fire and drink some bourbon

My old blue walls are over 40 years old, and smell a tad from the years of fish slime, but I have new pair waiting in the wings that are just as old but never worn, I have a new girl friend that I love so much I am giving her my old ones......

if you want warm plus safety, check out the artic armor bibs and coat. really warm plus they offer floatation if you fall in and insulate when your wet. a little more pricey tan the 100mph bibs, but well worth it just for the warmth, let alone they might save your life. a fiend of mine let me borrow the coat a few weeks back and it was the warmest coat I have ever worn.
