Default Young Steel guitar player. Bring back Steel guitar and classic country!

I bought my son a pedal steel guitar for his 11th birthday in June and he has played it every day since. He has a great teacher and works hard at it. I've always been such a fan of the steel guitar and loved classic country. All he wants to listen to is Merle, Waylon, Ray Price, and Buck Owens. LOL. Weird for a kid but that kind of stuff and bluegrass is all I have played for the boys since they were born. Anyway I've posted a few youtube videos of my young steel player.

Dang good for a kid his age!
If he keeps playing each day he's going to be a pro.
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.

Man I love the sound of a steel guitar. I could listen to that instrument all day long.
I like that last one he played the best. One of my favorite hymns.

OUTSTANDING! I am 42 and grew up listening to classic country. I still listen to it today and everyone my age including my wife thinks i'm a big redneck because of it. I'm happy to see a young person who likes this kind of music.

POCO..........when country met rock. Rusty Young has been one of my musical heroes. He still plays the pedal steel like nobody, but his voice is gone...lol

EXCELLENT work young man! Keep practicing and you will be great!!
