I have an older Rapala knife that will run off 110, 12 volt battery clips or cigarette light plug. It is in a gray case instead of the newer ones in a black case. Love it and used it for years. The newer ones don't have the same rpm's as my older one. I now use the top of the line American Angler 110 volt knife and it's the best knife I have ever used. I think a inverter would be your best bet if cleaning many fish that way you still have the higher rpm's of a 110 knife and you don't have to worry about the battery being charged when your ready to use it.
I use american angler always had good luck with it,,,,
again. I'm wrong. 110v on the pack.
i have a newer rapala,u can use it 110 or 12 volts and came with a short and long set of blades and me personally i didnt like it and everyone that used it complained about it.Bought a new american angler 12 volt off craigslist someone got as a gift and never used it and it is the bomb ,puts the rapala to shame.I usually use the 110 adapter that came with the rapala though, have never tried it straight off the battery so i cant answer that.
I use a 12v every time I clean fish back boat up hook up clean done. I think mine is just as good . It is one of those cant remember the name its green.
