Tent fundraising progress

A tent like we had down at camp will run us $1200. That is for what we seen there. Tent, poles, stakes and ropes. I feel we will need some side walls also. Not sure what that will cost us but we are well on our way to having a crappie.com tent for all our camps. We don't have to rush in to it since we will not need to have one until fall camp. So we will have time to check prices on side walls and even other tents if we want to. Does everyone think the 20X30 was big enough? I think with tables moved to the sides it will open it up a lot and give us plenty of room and make it easier to put up, take down and store compared to a larger one.

I will keep this updated as I receive money. I know of a couple other people that are sending me money to add to the collection. So far I have $470 cash. That does not include the guide trips, Arkie Jig box, 8 rod travel bag. I will extend the guide trips due to several requests from guys at camp. I also have a north section and south section detailed map to add to the auction that "crappieslab" donated as well as two Wally Marshall Solo reels that G.Gordon donated. I will try and get time to post pics of those items.

Jared could that detailed contour map of Truman come with some "routes" drawn on it? Could be worth some good money to someone who hasn't been on lake before!

20X30 seemed big enough to me. I think the sides will come in handy with normal camp weather. That tent would have done no good in a rain with wind blowing sideways, helps keep out the cold wind also......and snow!

Something like we had with tarp sides that could be let down/rolled up would be handy for pleasant and foul weather alike. We could sell sponsors a chance to pay part or all of a "section" such as pole to pole, Everharts, Bucksaw, Tightwad, Golden Coral , Mallards and others as they come up. Have their logo or message printed on it. Two 30' tarps/panels, one 20', and one 10' would wrap all but 10' of the unit we had.

I would definitely pony up for some guided trips for the tent purchase if any of you all would be willing to do more than one. I need all the teaching I can get
