Relocating to Truman Lake

Moving from southeast Missouri to Warsaw for new job. Me and my son plan on hitting the lake next week. We are definitely interested in the Truman lake crappie.com tournaments. We have mainly fished in Mississippi for last few years. I know Truman is a great fishery. Looking forward to meeting lots of new faces with our move!

We fished Truman Monday and Tuesday when the wind was blowing. The fishing was sporadic out on the lake, and most of the fish we got were about 15 feet down in twenty feet of water. We killed them below the dam at the docks after dark. We caught and released about 150 crappie up to 13 inches on both minnows and hair jigs. There were a few walleyes and channels also. We also met a very colorful character at the dock, Dan the Man.
