We have talked several times about buying a tent for spring and fall camps. We have some funds raised by Deb and JR from the shirt sales and also from a anonymous member who could not make it to camp this spring. We are a long ways from buying a new tent right now but if needed we have permission to set up a large tent again like Bugman hooked us up with several years ago. We can check the weather as it gets closer to time and see if we need to rent one again. For now the weather is looking good but we all know what happens when CDC camp starts.
We may try and have a donation jar setup at camp for a CDC Camp tent fund. Then do some fundraisers this summer and try and have enough to buy one before fall camp. If anyone has any connections with a tent company for a rental for this next weekend or for buying a nice used or new one later please let me or JR and Deb know.

God bless Charlie Brewer and Bobby Garland.
At our company picnic last year the Elks Lodge in Clinton set a pretty nice tent up. They told me they rent it out but forgot the price they charge.
Our vote would be to rent a tent for this years camp, and then if we would like to buy one we will be glad to help out with fund raisers any way we can.
A gun, like any other source of power, is a force for either good or evil, being neither in itself, but dependent upon those who possess it
From an old movie I saw
Bigby can you find out where their tent came from and get us a price on a 20x30? If anyone else knows a place to rent one to be set up on Thursday afternoon or Friday morning and taken down on Sunday or Monday let us know. I can front the money for it and get donations at camp for the rental fees. Then take the extra money if any and put towards buying one for future camps.
I'm in for either way just let me know what ya need
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
Here is one on craigslist. Is this the style we would want?

I asked my boss, he is a member of the Elks, he is suppose to find out.
Thanks Brian. Looks like a chance for showers next Saturday. So would be nice to have one.
