Any Cat fisherman around here?

I'm going to head to truman this weekend and I'm wanting to some multi species attacking. Crappie is first in order then walleye. I'd also like to catch a catfish or two. Where are they this time of year. Spawning? Flats? Banks? Whats best night crawlers? goldfish? perch? stinky cheese? I used to catch them in the rivers all the time just dead sticking with a bell sinker and a slip shot with a hook 18" from the two with night crawler. Any advice would be awesomely appreciated.
