best central Missouri crappie lakes

coming to visit family in central Missouri. They don't fish much but I do. Want to take them Crappie fishing. Can you guys give me a few recommendations. I do the majority of my fishing in Illinois. I know our lakes are quite different than yours as far as clarity and depth are concerned. Thanks for any help.

what part of central mo? so many good crappie lakes from Kansas city to Truman, and sometimes Stockton, and Lake of the Ozarks, Pommie,,,,

They live in Sedalia. It's a guys trip, we plan on staying at or near the lake so distance from Sedalia isn't a big issue.

Truman lake is the place to be then. 25 miles to closest ramp and about 35-40 to the Bucksaw area.

One of the top crappie spots as far as numbers go in the world probably is where Jiggin 15 is talking about. Some big ones or big for missouri any way but mostly a bunch of fish and fun all day long when you hit it right.
