    Default Results of the elections:

Earlier today I was very close to pulling the trigger on a boat out in Osage Beach.

Tonight, I will settle for fixing up my jon. Elections have consequences.

If you have it, hold it close. Conserve, hide, defy to the legal limit. You know what I mean.

Soon listed: House for sale in Raymore. I do not hold home ownership in America as a goal now. Before tonight: Home owned outright before 50th birthday.

I'm not very smart but that hasn't stopped me in the past so please allow me a minute to comment, and i mean it to be respectfully. My candidate didn't win. But this country is bigger and better than any one candidate, political party, or cause. The people of this country win out ultimately each and every time. This country has always been about hope, don't give up on that. Recall having these same type doomsday thoughts in elections of the past, didn't happen. Is it a changing world? Absolutely, but it's forces of the world as a whole and the short sightedness of some of our past decisions that is formulating the change. We still have a chance to correct them in spite of whatever short term cowboy sits in the white house. Your freedom to decide to not purchase or to purchase a boat, car, house is undiminished, your ability to choose a church of your choice and to put your hard earned money into a bank hasn't changed. Take a breath man, appreciate your passion but if you want to know what is most important take a look at a post in this same section titled "prayers needed", that outweighs politics and a four year stay in office,,,any day. It will be "new batter" up in 2016 and you will still have a say in seeing who goes to the plate to take their swings at that time. Regardless of who won last night, wasn't going to be any community organizer or corporate magnate tell me how to think, act, or live my life. Screw em, they work for you!

Agree wholeheartedly, Steve. Definitely a first-world problem, y'know? The USA is still the best country in the world to live in, hands down, regardless of who won.

Agree with Steve and Joe. Life will go on, just as it always has.

I agree, Steve. I went looking for a tall building to jump from late last night, but couldn't find one in Knob Noster. Woke up this morning with the sun shining, good health, great wife, wonderful sons and daughters, and exceptional friends! I'm a lucky man indeed.

Believe it or not I agree, life goes on..Its going to be tough, It would have been tough on Romney as well. Time to move on and see how we can make the best of this situation. 1st thing is getting all my money out of the market...Its going to take a big hit...Lost enough already.

Maybe you and Gordon could live together in a compound out in the country and bury your money in coffee cans. LOL.

It has never been my goal to retire CONUS. Home ownership is losing it's "up side".

Building the business and socking away funds will be the norm for us.
