Default I love listening to and watching these big guys.

Have spent a lot of hours in the park watching these guys. 1 time we where in the back of our truck so we could get a better view. Well the bull, his harem and several satellite bulls all ventured our way and surrounded our truck. We had to stay in the back until they decided to move because they were to close to take a chance on getting down and into the cab. It is really erie listening to them after dark.

Pretty sweet. My first time to RMNP was about 6 weeks ago and we saw a few elk there. No bugling, though. Saw a black bear, too.

Me and my son have walked right at 80 miles of the 125 mile Ozark Highland Trail system in northern Arkansas. We camped on a bluff over the Buffalo River one night, rain/thunder storm came in, in the middle of the night you could hear them going at it. Nice sound echoing off off the bluff's walls.

That morning we woke with a hunting hound sleeping by the tent. Nice dog. Shared breakfast with it, mistake, I know. It followed us most of the day, I'd guess we covered about eight miles, then it seemed to get the scent of home, took off over a ridge and never looked back. Another storm was coming in, we found an old abandoned farm house with three walls still standing, we used it as camp that night.

Man, I miss walking across the Ozarks. Thanks for bringing back some good memories.
The best way to get to where you want to be in the future is to act like you are there TODAY.
