Ok, I was having a buddy or two over for a fish fry beer eating event Saturday night.

Today, I get an email from the wife of a friend of one of the buds that was coming over, follow that?

She's throwing him a b-day bash Saturday night, band, sushi, fried fish, burgers, etc. "Bring nothing, just come!" is her instructions.

So, email and text between buds and I, we decide to put off our FF thing and do this gig instead.

So, I accept the invite.

Not ten minutes later, I get another email, "Can you bring some fish?"

Social skills, some peeps has none.

If she ask me to cook it, I will excuse myself to go home and get "something"... I'll forget to come back.

Like some of those "acquaintances" that we all have .... the only time they ever call is when they need help moving a freezer ...or their mother in law is broke down somewhere ........
