I hooked a gar yesterday, they are everywhere. I thought I had my 2 pound fish for the wall until I got him to the top!

some good shootin! that bowfishing is a blast! as for them gar fish, ya get one around 3-4ft and they are some really good eating.
ya just wanna kill some big numbers and wear your arm out? right now while the water is low, take a trip to the missouri river. pick any wingdike and creep in behind it real slow with your troller. look for where all the scum and debris is gathered because of the swirling current, and the asian carp are there. broad daylight, right on top. go in real slow and shoot a few, then fire up the big motor and on the way out ya shoot at em jumping. then run to the next dike and do it all over again. and dont forget the polarized glasses!Thumbs Up
