That'll work here in Ga. You have either 15 or 30 days to get it re-titled and re-tagged. (Cannot remember which.)

I'm buying a used car from an individual tomorrow and will have to obviously drive the car home and to get it inspected .. what am I supposed to do for license plates on those drives? My plan right now is to just go with no plates, but to make sure I have the paperwork (title & bill of sale) with me. If anyone has a better idea, I'm all ears.
Kind of a silly question, but I've never done it before.

Bill of sale and title, you're golden. MO has a bill of sale available online in PDF. Print and fill out, have the seller sign. Google "Missouri Bill of Sale".
The best way to get to where you want to be in the future is to act like you are there TODAY.
you do not have any grace period, title has to be filled out and signed, the officer that stops you and talkes to you will decide if he or she will give you a ticket based on the law,how long it's been since you got the car,and how you react to the stop,,, best get it done as fast a possible,,,, I know,,,from expierence,,,
Drive by smcfrln’s house…I hear plates are easy to come by in that neighborhood.![]()
I'm not sure about getting it home, but YOU CAN drive it TO and FROM an inspection station to get it inspected in order to get license on it with no repercussion, in Missouri anyway.
