A four bank charger should have 4 black/red pairs coming out of it. Hook a red from one pair to the positive and a black to the negative of the same battery. Sometimes, there will be special instructions included which tell you if a certain pair should be connected to the starting battery. Just look in the directions to see if that is the case.

I found this diagram that our good buddy Speck had posted before.
If the top pic is what you have then just put the red cable from charger to positive and black to negative on each battery. I have a switch to disconnect/separate my trolling batteries but when I got my new three bank charger it said it was not needed. It is already hooked up so I left it in place. Figured if I needed to use one of the batteries to jump start cranking side I could just turn the switch and hook up jumpers.

This is a good pic to show how to get 24 volts or 12 volts out of two batteries but it has nothing to do with hooking up a charger to the batteries.

The charger hook up is the simple part. Most chargers have the leads come out of it as one cable and then splits into a red and black lead that hooks to the battery. Start with bank one and hook the black lead to negative and the red to the positive on battery number one. Then take the wires from bank two and hook to the second battery. Same for the third. Most new chargers do not require the breaker/disconnect switch for charging. But like I said above it could come in handy for other uses.
