Sorry to hear she's down, but glad it's looking better.
Everyone needs to pay attention after bug bites, tic bites included. I got erlichiosis (er-lic-ee-o-sis) from a tic bite in 2008. Put me in the hospital for three days of high power antibiotics, spinal taps, scans, etc.
Hope she has a quick turn around, good luck to both of you. You need to take good care of that special lady.
