Pickle Juice
For years I was in the roofing buss. Very hot work as you all know. I would get these muscle cramps that just wouldn’t go away. Doctors told me to eat lots of bananas,drink lots of Gatorade and take potassium plus salt tablets.
That doesn’twork for a diabetic. Too much sugar in the Gatorade and bananas.
Still I would get them. Till I meet an older man who was all the time eating pickles. He’s said the vinegar in the pickle juice would deliver the potassium to the muscle 10 times faster than Gatorade.
So now I go too Wally world buy a big jar of pickles. Throw them in the food processor and get all the juice I can. In a large glass I mix 3 parts water to 1.
If you get night time cramps in your legs or any cramps at all try this.
Come to find out there now selling it at Academy sports stores. Pro football players use it.

I also should of said if you get muscle cramps it takes only two mininutes for pickel juice to work. Taking calcium and magnesium works too. But if your out side sweating you but off and you get these cramps its takes a long time for them to work. Pickel Juckel juice stops them quick. Just saying -- I'm a heavey sweater-- its more like its raining out of my skin when its this hot out.
Dill or sweet pickels?
why not make your own pickle juice, I drink it from time to time before eating spicy foods, seem to help with the gas milage..::never heard of it for cramps... love to learn,thanks.
