    Default My Rant about flag clothing


    Today I was looking at the BPS flyer that came in the morning paper and there were shirts on sale that look like they were made from an American flag. This is nothing new they have been around for a long time, but I have always hated this knowing how many men and women have given years of their lives or died protecting this flag and what it represents. I feel this is totally disrespectfull and it really gets me POed. Well this morning they have hit a new low, they now have chairs that look like the flag. You might just as well throw the flag on the ground and walk on it. In foreign countries they desacrate our flag to show their hate for us, but to me we are doing the same thing when we but these products.

    N2 what I hate about those products is that most of them are not made in the USA!

    I cannot say anything on this topic since I am typing this in my Flag lounging pants . I think as long as you love it, don't burn it, the Men and Women that fought for it gave us the right to honor it in anyway we can by showing it to everyone.

    the most disrespectful thing to me is military clothing made into cut off shirts/shorts. That bothers me more than anything!

    I started to buy a hat at the VA.one time that had nam veteran on it.Got to lookin and it had a tag in it(made in vietnam).thought that really sucked especially being sold in a veterans building.DIDN'T BUY.

    i was always taught to respect our flag and it sickens me to see clothing made from its image. i have even seen flag underware, how disgusting can you get

    I'm as patriotic as anyone, but I have to agree with Mr. Miller on this one.
