Mid life crisis!!!!!

A middle aged man recently bought a brand new CORVETTE, feeling a little frisky while driving the car home from the dealership he passes a hyway patrolman doing 110mph. On comes the lights and sirens, a chase ensues, the man reaches speeds of 150mph and then comes to his senses and pulls over. The patrolman gets stopped and runs up to the CORVETTE, obviously irritated and yelling at the middle aged man "what were you thinking, someone could have been killed!".......
This was the mans reply to the patolman, "My wife recently ran off with a hyway patrol officer and I was afraid you were bringing her back".........RoflRoflRofl
