Well....... if a person calculated the price per pound of a wild turkey- fuel -shotgun -shells -camo clothing -bug spray -trips to the ER -and all other incidental cost..... The PRICE CHOPPER BIRD cost about "1/32" the price of a wild bird......Problem is, I've never seen a frozen bird GOBBLE or STRUT Besides store bought meat makes me nervous

I used to love spring turkey hunting until I was almost shot on my own property by an old man trespassing on me. Then I stepped on a copperhead one year. Decided someone didn't want me turkey hunting. I took up crappie fishing instead. Never been mistook for a crappie. Now I get my turkeys frozen like Jack does!!!

I hear ya Speck.... I've had some close calls similar to what you say...... But,,,, you know what they say "If it can't kill ya it ain't much fun" or someting like that....
