Great advice. I lost the bearings in mine 2 years ago on the way to Truman. Didn't know it till I stopped in Clinton and smoke was rolling. Ruined my day. Got it to a friends house and had to return the next weekend and replace the hub and bearings.

hi folks, just wanted to remind ya'all to check those wheel bearings on your trailer. I did a just a couple of months ago and everything was fine, well today I jacked up the trailer and gave them a spin. they sounded like there was some sand in the grease, so I thought I would look closer and maybe repack them. pulled the left hub off and the inner bearing was totally gone! just a race and some metal shavings. would have never guessed it just wiggling the tire and spinning the wheel.
so I ran to napa and for less that 50$ I put all new bearings and seals on both sides. easy stuff, too. only took about half hour or so to do once I got the parts.
sure glad I checked them, making the 225 mile round trip to twain on friday. that would be a crappy way to start a crappie trip!

Great advice! Thumbs Up Not a good feeling watching your wheel and tire pass the tow vehicle.Just ask me and I'll tell you all about it.
I'm glad you checked them too! I'm going to do the same. Thanks for the heads up.
