Default Bow Hunting / Archery Nuts

Got my bow and my son’s bow back yesterday.
Had some parts on mine dipped and both crackeerized!
Custom strings from Carter’s Archery and one heck of bow tuner!

I’m fired up about getting my son into bow hunting this fall. He’s 10, currently pulling 26lbs and shooting 166fps. :Hands Clapping My first bow shot 175fps pulling 65lbs.

    Lookin good.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

    Keefer,

Lookin good man........ are those your target bows or actual hunting bows? Not that it matters, just curious since I have a few buddies that target shoot and have their own specific bows just for target with the extended stabilizers and such.

Regardless, they look sharp and very cool you're getting the little guy into it. Just don't be mad when he becomes a better shot than pops!

Great lookin rig. I need to have a new string put on mine before next season........I shoot a Hoyt V-tec, bought it in 2005 and am still using the original string, still shoots ok but I can tell that things are off a little bit so need new string and a good tune up. Good shooting!
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish
