well, I got out of work early yesterday afternoon, so I slipped out on the missouri river for awhile. went out lookin for shad in a creek, and netted a nice crappie, right on the bank. she was still prespawn and fat as a tick!
went and hit a sand bar and found the channels. right off the bat, had 2 poles down at once and came up with these 2 channels. the bigger one was around 12lbs and the big fish of the night.

these guys were so shallow that they broke the surface at the hookset!!
then got another channel and a few minutes later a nice little blue.

also caught 2 more 5lb channels at dark but i didnt take any pics because it was raining a little. been tough out ther the past few weeks so I had a pretty fun evening for a change!
