August a Busch near St Louis

Hey does any one on here know a good lake to fish in that area for crappie or cat

s from the bank. Im going to be in St. Louis for a few days on business so i figure i would do some fishing while im there. Thanks any info would be appreciated.

Hey LSL Angler im in town today and tomorrow sorry i didnt reach you but my smart phone shot craps. I did manage to make out to lake 38 and in 1 1/2 hours me and my daughter caught 17 bass and 6 crappie. All of the bass were over 17 in and the biggest was 5 lbs.

That was a heck of a good fishing for 1 1/2 hours of fishing. I took my wife out fishing which is only her second time fishing so i just tried to get her where she would be catching alot of small crappie instead of a couple of slabs. Did catch a nice 14 inch and some 10-11" crappie. All the other were about 7".

Odd, my card shows lake 38 dosent have Crappie? Not saying you didnt catch em.

I guess I need to get a new card?
