I put a 80 pound thrust Maxxum on my boat a couple of years ago and love it, had to make a guard at work to protect my transducer puck after knocking a couple off.

You got to watch out who you hang out with Jake. Steer clear of the the ones with KC starting their CDC names. You take them along fishing in your boat and then they talk you into a new trolling motor. You will love the 24 volt. May not ever need all the power but sure is nice to have it of you need it. I crank my 82 lb up when cutting from point to point in a cove or to get from a tree row to the channel. Sure is nice but be carefull because them under water trees come at you fast when you have it turned up to 100 percent. Congrats and enjoy.

Heck jared since hess fished with us that first time I said first thing wat is this little 50lb thrust crap??? Lol... that's wat I have on my little tub and at times want more power! Lol... he has also been spending money on 3 inch baits since looking thru my box and bought a tackle bag like mine! Lol.... if this keeps up he won't be able to afford to fish anymore! Lol
