Troy and Jacob Landry will be at the Olathe Bass Pro this Saturday from noon to 4. They are promoting a new Kansas lottery ticket "Choot'em". While supplies last anyone who buys $10 worth of scratcher tickets will get a Choot'em t shirt. We will be there on our way to the city. Little out of the way but should be worth it. If nothing else it is an excuse to get in to Bass Pro.

Really like that show. Love the commercial they have for it with the music from "Oh Brother Where Art Thou".

I grew up running the same bayous that they gator. From the grand river flats down to Morgan city. The show is kinda a stretch but not to far off. I really enjoy seeing where I grew up on tv. I recognize the trees they show and tell the wife right where they are at she just shakes her head and wonder how I can remember a maze of bayous but can remember where I put my keys lol. Lake varett (troys hunting area) use to have the best sac a lait ( crappie) and bream fishing around. But that hole basin has dropped off but in it's day it was magical especially for a wild fishing and hunting crazy kid.I love Missouri and will never leave but south Louisiana is home and where my heart will always be
In our government-controlled schools we are taught that Lincoln was our greatest president because his war ended slavery and saved the Union. As usual, the other side of the story – the side that reflects poorly on the government – somehow gets lost. – Richard J. Maybury, The Abe Lincoln Hoax

That's pretty cool Terry to know the area from your past. Some of it is a little crazy but still entertaining. Last nigh was the start of the new season. Troy had 13' but was beat out by last years partner Liz. She is teamed up with another young lady and they caught a 13' 6 1/2" monster. The first clip at the start of the show has a shoot of Troy jumping a boat over about a ten fr section of dry ground. He was airborn. Boat and motor both completely out of the water as he jumped it. Pretty cool.
