Well been hearing on CNN and Fox News all night last night that our Primary Election cost Missouri Tax Payers 7 Million Dollars yesterday and no party awarded any delegates. Some of the reporters were calling our Election nothing more than a beauty contest! I think us tax payers should send a bill to each the Republican and Democrat parties! Just my thoughts with a poor economy we have that much in tax dollars to waste its a darned shame!

Agreed. If you are going to the expense of having it, make it binding.
My wife made me vote and told her it was a waste of time and Money!
Totally a waste of tax money and they will give our electorial votes to who the comm deciedes no matter the out come of the election

The whole primary system is a farce. I learned that last presidential election when McCain got the nomination without the popular vote. I still voted for Uncle Ron yesterday.

Well I have made my stand! I have given in the past to state wide elections and also local elections. I am not giving any money ever again! And I have supported both sides mainly the Republicans! One of the reporters on either Fox or CNN last night was almost laughing at us in the in state of Missouri due to the fact that we spent 7 million dollars yesterday and didn't award any electorial votes! The reporter was making fun of Missouri people for being so stupid!
Kinda tough not to laugh at the state of Missouri; Was not too long ago the state elected a DEAD guy, (Carnahan) and 7 million is a drop in the bucket compared to what the casinos take out of the Missouri economy on a monthly basis. You are correct Kit, the primarys are a joke. Always amazes me that at the end, after all the mud slinging and dirt finding each candidate can gather on the other, the loser "pledges" to help whoever gets the nomination to get elected. Grow a set of balls and don't be a phony; you tried to bury your opponent during the primary but now you are in his corner? Sure...that makes a ton of sense.
Well said Jack, politics is the most corrupt business out there.
