Are both 100 guage aluminum? Which come with better eletronics and trolling motor?

Both decent brands. The Cresty Merc, the G3 Yamaha, both are good 4 strokes. Electronics and trolling motor can be upgraded or changed with a good dealer. Consider dealer support, look at layout, finish, storage, get inside the boat and visualize yourself moving around from spot to spot in the boat during the course of a fishing day. If you can find pictures of the boat sitting in the water it will give you an idea of how it will handle wind while fishing on the electric. Moquack's observation on construction is important but there are some below average boats out there with 100 gauge aluminum in my opinion. Good luck.
