You might enjoy this. Another Duncan has been through the gas Chamber. The kid is taking his lumps at Fort Benning, and doing his part. Makes a Dad proud. He's 216 front and center. He decided for enlistment #1 that he'd be high speed. Benning will be home for a while. He'll be there for basic/infantry, airborne and Ranger.

There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
I thank all of you who have made the choice to serve my country, so that I may fish freely. THANK YOU!!! it does not go unnoticed.
1968 for me.
Thank him for us, always humbling to realize what those young men and women do for us. Never had that experience myself unless fishing with OSS counts.
I attended the "South Georgia School for Wayward Boys" in '87. Probably went through that same chamber. Thanks, to you and your son, for your service. Hooah!
A BIG thank you to all of our members + their families for service to our country!
Thanks to all. I went through once at FT. Dix, and then again before deploying at FT Jackson. He's a great kid and being able to see pics while he's there is great.
