Busted some pheasants at Timber Rock, right outside of Poplar Bluff, it's was a blast, literally, I'd never done it before, a guy climbs up in a 40 ft tower and starts chunkin birds out, they immediately climb to 60 ft and 30 mph, and fly away while you waste shells! We managed to knock down enough for dinner!

Are those cage raised birds? I went to Kansas and walked 10 miles and got 2. They were wild birds and there was not many this year, last year there was a lot more birds.

Made our annual trip to South Dakota the end of Oct. 10 of us limited out every day in both of the daily hunts. Glad you had fun. I like wild birds myself. At the shooting perserve up here the cost is $18.50 per Pheasant killed. I can't affor that kind of huntin.
