Jeff this could be a fun chase u and Bugman have going
You MIGHT try checking with your local FFL who just happens to know who you are. See you tomorrow.
Look like it is worth $5. I'll give $6.50 for it;) Cool looking gun. You guys will have fun trying to figure it all out and I am sure learn a little along the way. Pretty neat. Keep us updated along the way.
The add was in no way intended to diminish the current cost of the rifle ,, just a add to show the prices back in the 1930"s when it was made,, they were sold by sears and i think this model(m-36) was made by marlin,,,
all i'am going to say on the matter
sold jared! lol... i'll keep ya updated on my quest!:) fuzzy, i did'nt take it that way at all buddy:) that's a cool looking ad! man have time's change'd. think maybe i could get a few bullet's for it for $5! lol
The add would be cool to have a copy of printed out to hang in a frame on the wall with the rifle. Fuzzy I was just giving Jeff a hard time. I think it is real neat. Maybe find out the price in a Gun Bible. I remember selling an old bolt action 12 gauge made by JC. Higgins for $75 which doubled my money on it. Then found out later it was worth about 6 times that. Even if it is only with a minimal price if you can find some history on it it will be priceless to you for sure and for good reason.
