I'm the worst about taking my own safety for granted.....so this is another good reminder for me to maybe start wearing the life vest more often, maybe even invest in a ladder for the boat because I don't know if I could get myself back in once I was in the water.

Hind sight is always 20/20. Something like you did could ruined a Merry Christmas for alot of folks...including yourself.:rolleyes: But I think we're all done some "less-than-smart" thinking before. Glad everything worked out though cause it coulda been ugly.

Holly Molly! Sure glad everything worked out! I fell out for the first time this year and lucky for me it was warm and the only damage was my pride. I also learned it is a bad idea to step on wet, waxed fiberglass as it is slicker then snot.
