Shipping can be a pain in the butt. If you have to drive out of your way to get the item and pay the sales tax, the shipping fee can be worthwhile.

I know Duncan but it gripes my butt anyway,,,, and one more thing, the city of springfield has about 3 or 4 different tax areas and the big retail outlet for fishing gear is in like a 7 or 8 percent maby more and just down the road 6 percent.... :::??? go figure.

I called one of these places one time and they told me how much shipping and handling was, I told them not to handle it so much.

I buy alot of stuff off of Ebay and I am always watching shipping rates! Alot of times I can find stuff on ebay cheaper than purchasing it here in Springfield. Figure the cost of gas to just run to the south side of town and sales tax. Sometimes shipping charges are cheaper.
