Went to see them tonight and all I can say is WOW! 7 homes in 7 days and a park, with 14,000 volunteer's, they are working 24 hours a day. They started Wednesday and all the framing, siding, windows, doors, and roofs are already done. We are going back tomorrow and I will get some pictures and post them. Hope to see Paige and Ty tomorrow. If you are in or around Joplin you should go by and see this, it is like nothing you have ever seen. All the homes are going to tornado victims who lost there homes. Two of the families lost children in the tornado. They are building them at 26th and Conner which is not far from St. Johns hospital which was destroyed. They will let you take a ride on a van down Conner so you can see everything or there is a spectator area you can walk to from 8 AM to 8 PM and see what is going on. Talked to a lot of the volunteer's and is amazing how happy everyone is and very friendly. Many of the local contractors are on site working to get everything completed by next Wednesday.
That's awesome!
Sorry did not get a picture of Paige I saw her but didn't take a picture. I will and get it posted.

Awsome!!
Thats great. We watched Storm Chasers lastnight and they had footage of the Joplin Twister on there. That thing was huge and really did some damage.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
It is amazing how fast they can get a house built. They do good work for needy people.
