I totally agree with you, this new format SUCKS, I'm like you would like to see what is happening all over the state and sometimes it will help us fish Stockton. Later, Ship

I may be in the minority but I don't like this new format. I mainly fish stockton, but I like to see posts by others from all over the state and don't like to have to change sub forums to read them. I love this site and appreciatre all the work mods do, and this won't run me off but I'm curious what the thoughts of others are? I am within a 3hr drive of any big crappie lake so I like being able to read about the great adventures others are having.
Whatcha think?

I'll post here what I posted on the Truman forum to the same response:
"Well, we're going to try it this way for a while. We've tried very hard to get past the online bickering between the two lake area's in question, and have not found a way. I've previously thought that Area Forums as opposed to State Forums for areas that have large fishing communities would be a good idea, so the opportunity presented itself here, and this is my first trial. We'll see how it goes. That's what's nice about the Internet, change is easy to make, so we can always change back. Sorry for some of the confusion over multiple boards, but I think it'll be better in the long run.
Oh, I really don't want to talk about that "bickering" that I speak of in the open forum. Some of which has taken place behind the scenes here. It does no one any good. If you have questions, you are welcome to PM me as opposed to airing our dirty laundy here."
Give it some time, who knows, this may increase contributions from different areas. People may feel more free to post.
I understand. Thanks for the explanation and all you do to have a great resource for crappie fisherman.

I can understand the reasoning behind it but I don't much care for change so I'm not doing cartwheels. (THAT would be a sight to see...just sayin'.) Anyway...I'm learning that it's no big deal to switch forums and read there, too. It ain't like we're being banned from reading or posting in those other areas. So...while it's not my personal preference, I'm shrugging it off.
I'm trying to picture JoeDog doing a cartwheel, jumping up off his arse and then doing his best Aaron Rodgers immitation putting the imaginary title belt on!!!!!!Hands ClappingHands Clapping
I'm okay with the threads. I like reading the southern lake reports, especially in the spring because they are usually about 2 - 3 weeks ahead of us up north. A couple clicks to maintain the peace ain't all bad....this forum is a whole lot better than some I have been on where it seems people are sitting back adjusting their sights on their sniper-keyboard waiting to take out the first unsuspecting knucklehead who DARES to enter their kingdom.
Thanks for everything....this site is awesome....now, can we get a separate thread for Keeferfish?????RoflRoflRofl
I believe in catch and release.....right into the grease!!!!!
Us oldtimers will take a while to get used to "change"..newbies will see it as the normal.
No biggie,I'm getting used to being old, don't like it,but can't change it...go with the flow.
so where will mr. beagle man be posting his interesting and very funny stories?
The two lakes in question are fed by the same river but not in the same forum? Sheesh! Lets get back to MEANINGFUL bickering... jigs vs. minnows, glass vs. aluminum, braid vs. mono, 2 stroke vs 4 stroke, spider rigging vs longlining, Humminbird vs Lowrance, Merc vs Yamaha vs Evenrude, North vs South, MO vs KS![]()
