NTSB... What do they have to do with the crash in NV

I mean, it is the National TRANSPORTATION Saftey Board. This crash had nothing to do with "transporting" nothing but the pilot. It is not part of the transportation system. Why are they "combing through" the debris field? Job security? Why are experts reviewing the publics videos? I'm no expert, but I can tell you right now what the problem was.

Aged pilot, high performance machinery, a naturally dangerous sport... all combined with the fact that the plane crashed. There ya have it. Plane hit ground.

Sorry for those that lost family/friends, but not really worthy of a gov'ment agency investigating it for months on end.

They investigate all airplane crashes to determine if there was something mechanical that caused the crash. I agree there is no public need for them to go to the expense of doing this in this case but we have far more government than I want all the time.
