About a 1/4 to a 1/2 up the road. They have some great shiners. Watch the water temp. 8 to ten degrees change can kill them. I fish texas about 2 times a year ,in hot weather the change in temp can be fatal.Also found here local, that store minnows need to be brought up to lake temp slow. Take a store minnow put on hook drop 20ft. let set. If not kicking bring temp up.With a little lake water DO IT SLOW.
