Yet another scary adventure at State School lake

Well, dad and I were fishing and went onto the "accessible" dock (the ones that have the hole in the middle to fish in) to see if we could catch some crappie.
There was a kid there who was fishing and wanted to pet me. I wasn't too sure about him but he gave me a piece of hot dog, I still didn't like him. Later he was trying to get me to let him pet me and when he reached forward I jumped back and fell into the water in the middle of the dock. I didn't know where to go, I couldn't climb out anywhere so I kept swimming in circles. Meanwhile, this old guy who was just watching, didn't bother to get his jig out of the water so I swam through that and it stuck in my shoulder. Dad tried grabbing my collar and lifting me out but it just slipped over my head. I finally was able to figure out that if I swam between the buoys I came out on the other side of the dock and managed to swim to shore.
Scared the heck out of me.

Scared the pee out of me too Joe. That kid felt bad for it all, he didn't mean to do it. It did kinda tick me off when he kept calling you after it was all over until I told him to let you be.
As for the fish? I don't know how you found them all but they were a little "stiff" You caught as many as I did

Poor fella...Does he still want to go back to the lake? That's two bad times this year that I know about!!!

well hope he dont burn his little paws cookin up the feesehs..... probably better use mittens. Nice catch Joe and hope you have better luck next trip, maby ole quinn will take a dip with you next trip

Oh yea, It was scary, but I still love the water and going fishing with dad.
