Yes I do and file it each year when I file my taxes, just keep your reciepts and fill out the form and submit it. I usually get enough back for an extra trip to the lake.

Does anyone know about a Road Tax Refund for Marine Vessels here in Missouri? I guess they have it in quite a few states now. Basically it means that any fuel purchased for marine use, your boat, will qualify you for a rebate due to the road tax.....boats don't use roads so therefore shouldn't have to pay road tax. I am going to give this a whirl for sure, just thought I'd share it with others. Google it and see what you find. Here is what I found:

Awesome!! I'll take it! Thanks for replying. I figured I'll probably go through 2 tanks on my boat a year at 27 gallons each and the road tax is something like $0.40 so that would be $21 back in my pocket! Anything to get the gas price down!! Again, thanks!
I believe it is also available for farm tractors. Can anyone confirm this?
What about atv's, lawn mowers, weed-eaters, off road hunting trucks, tractors, tillers, the list goes on and on.. I may be rich and dont even know it....lol
ATV's , Lawn mowers, anything that's not on the road
Thanks Matt, I didn't know it existed.
All you can get back is .17 cents on a gallon, which is Missouri fuel tax. I burned over 300 gallons last year in my boat and got back around 54 bucks. Not going to get rich from doing this, and if you have to sort you receipts by county and add them up when you submit your form.
