Default Not crappie but still good

My son was hanging out with his buddies at one of them's farms and laid into this bad boy. I know it's not a crappie but still thought it was pretty cool. I'm 30 years older than him and ain't never caught one that big.

We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish

Nice fish even if it is the wrong color. Tell him congrats. They sure are fun to catch out of small ponds and lakes. I use to love it until I started fishing on Truman for them and doing the tournament trail chasing them. It then became work and quickly lost interest in it. But now here I am on CDC. He will out grow his bass phase in a few years.

I still have a love for fishing them. A big bucketmouth exploding on a spook is hard to beat. Crappie fishing is my passion tho.....as far as fishing goes.
